I tape for two reasons:

1) Because when im 65 I want to be able to watch shows that I saw when I was in my 20s.

2) To trade, and create love, for bands that I dig..

Thanks for dropping by! Digital Video Trader is a site specifically created to allow those of us with a passion for DV taping/trading to have a forum in which to discuss what we've taped, gear, taping techniques - as well as providing space for various traders lists of DV videos.

Remember! VHS is deader then dead :) DV, if not the format of the future, at least allows us to tape/trade in a format which will stay pristine and beautiful for years to come. And once DVD-Rs are common, we will be able to burn DVDs at incredibly high resolution..

So read on, communicate, contribute. Email me and post up a list of your DVs. If your interested in starting taping - then check out our reviews/links of various camcorders. There are tapers/traders all over the country. We're normal cats you just enjoy our camcorders :) Pick one up and start taping...
